Defining Grissom
Franchise creator Anthony E. Zuiker pays a glowing tribute to the departing William Petersen in the latest issue. “He was responsible for changing my life and we changed his life,” says Zuiker. “He had some options from the network to do other shows but he stood his ground and said, ‘I want to do this show.’ If he’d been talked out of that, we’d have a whole different television history.” The Official CSI Magazine also pays its own tribute to Gil Grissom, taking a look back at his defining moments on the show, from our first introduction to that kiss in the Costa Rican jungle.

All nine Seasons analysed
Drugs, bullets, planes, punches, kicks, cars, casinos, fires, bombs, kidnapping, beheading, choking, refrigerated bodies, dog attacks, strangulation, and human milkshakes – that’s just a taster of the first season of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, aired for the first time all those years ago. In the latest issue, we take a trip down memory lane and look back at the show’s history so far, recalling all the details and moments that have made each of the nine seasons so compelling and unique.

Guest Stars Galore
Accompanying our season-by-season guide, we interview one guest star from each season who captured our imaginations and lingered long in our memories. The in-demand young actress Nicki Aycox talks about her season two appearance as Jim Brass’ bitter, wayward, and unforgiving daughter Ellie – in one of nine sensational interviews. We also talk to Matt O’Toole (Paul Millander), Timothy Carhart (Eddie Willows), Scott Wilson (Sam Braun), Juliette Goglia (Hannah West), Jessica Collins (The Miniature Killer), Gerald McCullouch (Bobby Dawson), and Conor O’Farrell (Undersheriff McKeen). Talk about blasts from the past!
