Issue Spotlight

Adrian Pasdar

Nathan Petrelli has been traveling a slippery slope in Fugitives. As the actor who plays him, Adrian Pasdar, puts it: “Nathan has not only had to choose between his parents, but his fraternal relationship with Peter, his perceived professional responsibility to the safety of the United States, and with the man who has raised his biological daughter.” Something had to give, and the latest chapter has seen Nathan go from morally ambiguous to all-out bad guy – Pasdar tells us all about his character’s journey so far in the latest issue of Heroes Magazine.

Features

Super Hiro – Masi Oka

In three seasons of Heroes, Hiro has gone through enough loss, darkness, and terror to dampen even his loveable naivety. In an exclusive interview with Heroes Magazine, Masi Oka talks about the challenge of showing that Hiro has been affected by his experiences while retaining his unique personality: “One of the great things about Hiro is his innocence, and that’s what the comedy comes out of a lot of the time – his childlike wonder. I think his innocence is gone now, but his purity is still there. He still believes in people, he believes in destiny, and he’s just like a pure being, in the sense that he can be influenced by good and evil.”

A Heroes Welcome – Bryan Fuller

Bryan Fuller was a co-executive producer on Heroes before he left after the first season to make his own show, Pushing Daisies. Now back at Heroes, Fuller explains in an exclusive interview with Heroes Magazine why it feels like he's never been away: “It’s the same writers’ room and the same offices. In the first season I drew Milo Ventimiglia’s face on a pita, complete with bangs, and called it ‘Pita Petrelli’. It’s still hanging on the board in the writers’ room in a Ziploc bag.”

Sylar’s Hit List

A lot of the evolved humans who have featured on Heroes have met a gruesome end thanks to television’s most fearsome serial killer, Sylar. In the latest issue of Heroes Magazine, take a look a Sylar’s string of unfortunate victims – all heroes in the making who fell before their time.
+ Heroes Magazine takes a regular look at real life powers that Sylar could attain without killing anyone, if he really put his mind to it – in the latest issue, super strength is under the spotlight.
