Features

Allison Mack and Aaron Ashmore

Smallville Magazine interviews an actress who has been an integral part of the show since day one, Allison Mack. Mainly, that part has been playing the independent and impulsive CHLOE SULLIVAN, but season eight has seen her take on a new role as director of the episode Power. In the latest issue, we find out about Allison’s experience behind the camera, and get her take on arguably the latest season’s defining moment – when DOOMSDAY quite literally crashed Chloe and JIMMY OLSEN’s wedding. Plus, we talk to the actor who plays the other half of the not-always-happy couple, Aaron Ashmore. Does he think Chloe and Jimmy will live happily ever after...?

Figures of Eight

As ever, the latest issue of Smallville Magazine takes you beyond what you see on the screen with superb behind-the-scenes features. As season eight continues, we interview executive producers Brian Peterson, Todd Slavkin, Kelly Souders and Darren Swimmer. The new-look team tells us what lies ahead for CLARK KENT and friends – in season eight and beyond. Plus, we take a peek inside the Smallville  Writers' Room, as the scribes work on season eight’s bewitching Hex, while the show’s new head costume designer Melanie Williams reveals some wardrobe secrets.

We are Legion

One of season eight’s biggest developments has been the arrival in SMALLVILLE of Clark’s new friends from the future – the LEGION OF SUPER-HEROES! Rokk Kinn, Imra Ardeen, and Garth Ranzz – aka COSMIC BOY, SATURN GIRL, and LIGHTNING LAD – made their Smallville debut in the episode Legion, sending the Persuader back from whence he came. In the latest issue of Smallville Magazine, we talk to actors Ryan Kennedy, Alexz Johnson, and Calum Worthy about bringing this iconic trio to life.

Fair’s Fair

One of Smallville’s most popular directors, Kevin Fair, talks about helming season eight’s Odyssey, Abyss, Turbulence, and Stiletto.

Just Visiting

We talk to David Paetkau, aka Clark’s Metropolis PD partner, Danny Turpin.
