The Marion Kind!
The return of the feisty Marion Ravenwood (or Marion Williams as she had become) was undoubtedly one of the high points of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. In the latest issue of Indiana Jones: The Official Magazine, we interview actress Karen Allen, who tells us about reconnecting with a character she introduced 27 years earlier in Raiders of the Lost Ark: “The story doesn’t specify where Marion has been and what she has been doing, other than in relation to raising her son. I think that was the biggest challenge for me, figuring out the story of my character, the continuity to her life, in relation to Indy in particular.”
