Season Nine News

As Smallville season nine heats up, we bring you all the very latest developments in our dedicated Daily Planet news section. Plus, executive producers Brian Peterson and Kelly Souders tell us why it’s looking to be one of the most action-packed seasons yet, as Clark heads further toward his iconic destiny: “This season is all about Clark trying to embrace his Kryptonian heritage and the actual super hero part of his life”, says Souders. “He’s always felt more comfortable as Clark and did everything he could to hide the other side of him. This year, it’s more of a struggle for him as he actually embraces the part that will make him more super hero than human.”

Future Love – Erica Durance

“I believe Lois is on the cusp. Everything has aligned itself for this to be the year she truly becomes the iconic Lois Lane, or at least my version of her.” – Erica Durance

After being flung into the future and back again, LOIS LANE is finding herself growing closer to Clark, but still distracted by his alter ego, THE BLUR. In the final issue of Smallville Magazine, Erica Durance talks about playing the future love of Clark’s life.

Fallen Hero – Aaron Ashmore

The star interviews just keep on coming, as Smallville Magazine bows out with a bang! As an iconic part of the SUPERMAN legend, we might have thought Aaron Ashmore’s JIMMY OLSEN was invulnerable on Smallville – but things are never that simple. In the latest issue, the actor reveals all about playing the Jimmy who wasn’t.
Plus, we meet actor Callum Blue – a man who’s set to cause major problems for Clark and his friends in season nine as the nefarious MAJOR ZOD!
