Issue Spotlight

Amaury Nolasco

At Prison Break Magazine we pull out all the stops to bring you what you want – and we know you guys love Sucre! We interview the man who plays him in this issue – Amaury Nolasco chats about Sucre going it alone, whether he’ll end up with his girl, and why fans of the show want him and Michael to stick together.

Features

Mystery Man – Chris Vance

He’s one of season three’s most intriguing new arrivals, and his fate is bound up with Michael Scofield’s – but can James Whistler be trusted? The man behind the mystery, Chris Vance, sheds some light in this issue – and the cast interviews don’t stop there! Felicia Lang has continued to stand by broken FBI Agent Alex Mahone in season three, so what’s between her and her former boss? We get the lowdown from actress Barbara Eve Harris. Plus, we have a catch-up with Paul Adelstein, a.k.a. Special Agent Paul Kellerman.

Code Break

Going beyond what you see on TV, Prison Break Magazine takes a close look at cryptology – a discipline that plays such a vital role in the show’s scintillating storylines. Secret messages proved integral to the escape from Fox River, as well as in Michael’s plan to get to Panama, and with Whistler and Susan both proving to be handy with codes in season three, their importance looks set to continue. In this issue we look at the history of codes in the show – and in the real world – and challenge you to test your own code-breaking abilities.

Top 10 deaths!

There aren’t many shows with as high a body-count of significant characters as Prison Break, and the number of deaths caused by the Fox River escape is a constant source of regret to Michael Scofield and Lincoln Burrows. Virtually no-one seems to be safe, as Veronica Donovan found out in season two, and, most shockingly, Sara Tancredi in season three! We look back at some of the most memorable deaths Prison Break has seen so far, and some of the show’s writers give us their own views on the grisly departures.
