Make a Jungle Desk Tidy!

Keep your Science Deck organized with a jungle desk tidy that you can make yourself! Just follow the simple instructions - but make sure you ask a grown up to help you!

You will need:

Green cardstock, paper towel tubes and toilet paper rolls, brown poster paint, craft glue, safety scissors, paintbrush, double-sided tape and a grown up!

Step 1

Ask a grown up to help you download and print off these decorations for your desk tidy (PDF download, 2.0 MB). Glue the piece of paper on to thin cardstock. Cut out the shapes around the dotted lines.

Step 2

Carefully trim your paper towel tubes and toilet paper rolls to different lengths, then glue them together in a cluster. Use as many as you like, and cut them to whatever length you like.

Step 3

Paint your cluster of tubes brown, then leave them to dry.

Step 4

Cut out some green cardstock shapes to look like the tops of trees. Glue them to the top of the tallest paper towel tubes, then leave them to dry.

Step 5

Cut a shape from the green cardstock to use as a base. It can be any shape you like. Stick strips of double-sided tape to the bottom of your cluster of trees and stick it to the card base.

Step 6

Now you're ready to decorate your jungle! Use small pieces of double-sided tape to stick the characters and animals wherever you like on your jungle desk tidy!

All that's left to do now is fill your jungle desk tidy with pencils and crayons!
